Karla's husband – Albert (pioneer of Albert’s Flooring and Painting LLC), started in the wood industry in early 2000. He was in love with working with wood and fixing and installing floors. More than that, he enjoyed seeing the smiles on his customers' happy faces after the project was completed.

In 2016 Albert and Karla found Alberts' Flooring and Painting LLC where they started with sanding and installing new floors including hardwood, engineered, laminate, and vinyl (coretec) floors. Currently, they cover all types of wooden flooring - you name it! They also re-stain the flooring for customers who want to bring a new look to their houses.

Then they added installation of staircases, wood balustrades and iron handrails which makes their customers' houses amazing. Soon afterwards the business expanded to painting both interior walls as well as exterior surfaces with a wide range of colors that cover every taste imaginable!

In the beginning it was really a struggle for them to get their name out in the market. But then their initial customers who were very satisfied with their fine work started referring them to multiple other people, and Albert and Karla started to see a snow-ball effect with their growth. Currently they do jobs all across New Jersey and parts of Pennsylvania and New York.

As for many businesses, the pandemic has impacted Albert’s Flooring and Painting as well. Their projects had to be discussed virtually and some jobs had to be postponed. However, they are taking the maximum precautions while not discounting their deliverables to their customers. 

Right now they cover mostly residential, and they are hoping to expand it to the commercial space soon. 

Karla said “We are not jack of all trades because we believe that that kind of a person doesn't specialize in what they do. We are experts in our own trade because we take their time to learn and master a specific skillset”.

Today they are equipped with the resources and crew members to take a project of any scale to meet the budget and requirements of their customers. The best part is, no matter how big or small the job is, they always take the time with their customers to assure the customer's satisfaction is met.
