Marcine loved painting and it became an outlet for her during her tenure at graduate school. The paintings grew in size, gaining multiple feet of length. They were also mounted on canvases to be hung hallway-sized across several walls at once - just like a giant display! She was inspired by the wall arts in the NY city supplementing her interest that shifted her art skills to Murals.

After completing graduate school, she then became a teacher and was doing wall painting to earn an income on the side. That's when she realized that her true passion was on painting, which she was able to make people happy with. So, to pursue this dream of hers more fully and Marcine started up her own business under the brand name of “Artwork by Marcine”. 

her business is branched out to 3 parts. She does majorly murals, wall finishing and canvas painting. She is particularly interested in a form of art called Trump Louie, where she develops an art to look more realistic and 3D. 

Starting up the business put her through a rough path, Marcine said. She is a one man army, and she does all projects from start to end by herself. Also, she was challenged to find her tribe of clients who liked her style of art. Also, she was overwhelmed by the regulations. She started business when only Yellow Pages was available. She is challenged by the 21st century social media methods to market a business. But with time, she started to learn more about business acumen and business formalities to become a successful entrepreneur. 

As pandemic challenged businesses and their clients, Marcine's business was also impacted with many projects delayed lately. However, she is a smart entrepreneur who always in the look for options to push her business forward. she has been very flexible with her clients to provide the best services while maintaining the safety of everyone, especially the residential clients. She has used the pandemic as an opportunity to move into commercial spaces being very opportunistic. She wants to get her funnel busy with the gradual opening as a "ship smoothly sailing through waters". 

Marcine has a good trait of listening to her clients well and understanding the root cause of the issue meeting their expectations. She is sponge when it comes to absorbing to the stress of her clients. She would love to talk to anyone who would like to get their projects successfully completed.
